International Business: Everything is Connected

So it turns out that Magna has encountered a new challenge from purchasing Opel.

Magna builds 100% of of the BMW X3 mid-sized SUV in Austria. Now BMW is concerened that Magna will leverage its' IP to benefit Opel.

I'm really excited to see how this will turn out. I was gutted when Magna and Oleg Deripaska lost their bid to purchase Chrysler, but it looks like that was for the best in retrospect. I mistakenly thought that Daimler left value on the table, but Cerberus proved me wrong. Since GM was kind of crazy to spin off Opel, I think Magna has a much better chance of making decent profits.
